Shrimp Deluxe

1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup ketchup
2 cups shrimp, cooked
1/2 teaspoon salt
One 10 3/4-ounce can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced and stems removed
1 cup sour cream
Rice, cooked and hot

Saute onions and garlic in butter. Cook until onions are tender. Stir in ketchup, shrimp, salt, soup, mushrooms and pepper. Mix thoroughly. Simmer for 15 minutes. A dash of red pepper may be added. Stir in sour cream. Heat thoroughly. Do not bring to a boil. Check seasoning to taste. Serve over rice.
