Cheesy Butter

1 pouch Cheddar Cheese Soup and Recipe Mix
1/3 cup boiling water
1/4 cup sliced green onions
2 tbs unsalted butter or margarine, softened
1/2 tsp garlic powder

In small bowl, place soup mix. With mixer at low speed, gradually beat in boiling water until smooth. Beat in green onions, butter and garlic powder.

Makes 3/4 cup.

For Roasted Corn:
Trim 8 ears corn, but do not remove husks. Turn back husk; remove silk. Spread corn with cheese mixture. Recover with husk. Wrap each ear securely in foil. Roast on grill above glowing coals 20 minutes or until corn is tender.

Makes 8 servings.

NOTE:
Cheese mixture can be spread on ears of steamed corn.
